Sertraline increase.

I've had my dose upped from 50mg to 100mg and now on day 3.
I feel so agitated, anxiety is racing and so worthless today.

Is this a side effect of the increase or am I going to feel this bad forever?

It’s just a side effect and should settle down within a week or so. It’s tough at the beginning though. I started on 50mg and the side effects were awful for the first week or two but when I increased to 100mg they weren’t so bad. Feel fine now. Good luck. X

Totally normal I'm afraid, but it will settle down.

You're probably through the worst of it now so sit tight and you'll be feeling better soon.

It's a horrid feeling I know. Try and stick with it if you can, if not go down to 75mg and then back up, but like I said you've probably done the worst bit x

I agree, it will settle down soon. I've had it very time I've gone up (now on 250mg having been up and down a lot). It will get easier
