driving anxiety - confidence driving courses

Hi

I do suffer from anxiety from time to time. A few years ago I had a road collision, and didn't drive much after (my anxiety kicked in too much, over worrying, no confidence) - I've a new job now and need to drive a lot more (HELP!!!). I was wondering if anyone knows of any good confidence driving courses? If such exist.

I've no idea where to start or where to go!!!

Thanks x

I would have thought that any driving instructor would be able to give you a short refresher course to help you get your confidence back.

The AA driving school give very good refresher lessons.

My friend has just done this with an instructor that specialises in helping anxious drivers and she said it was really good so they are out there. She has a BD postcode if you're anywhere near there.

I have found this - advanced-driving.co.uk/essential-thinking-skills/driving-confidence-courses/

Looks expensive but think they cover the UK - I'm based in London so sadly too far away from BD postcode...
