I am feeling really crap today.

My house is a tip, my kids are both ill and were due to go on holiday tommorrow.

I have just stuck DS2 in his cot, he has a streaming cold and i can't cope with him clinging onto my leg crying, even if i pick him up he cries.

DS1 isn't really doing anything naughty but for some reason is still anoying me. poor kid.

Luckily our volunteer is round this lunchtime so i may be able to at least do the dishes.

Our tumble dryer has packed up and its our only method of drying the clothes so im not sure what were takingon holiday yet.

Feeling really stressed!

Charlee. Do you have a launderette locally? If so, maybe when your volunteer (presuming Homestart) arrives you can all walk to the launderette and put the washing in their tumble drier and go for a walk whilst it dries.

I find that the fresh air helps me and if there's someone else to help with the kids, all the better

I've replied to your email by the way.

I unflortunatley live in the middle of nowhere and don't drive so that isn't an option.

I am going to have to wait for dp to get home and take it all round my mums which i hate doing.

(will read email now)

Well, try and get out for some fresh air and exercise (unless it's raining) anyway. I know it's hard when you are stressed but it will help and the LOs can let off some steam and the fresh air will help them feel better too hopefully.

Yes i will try, although i may get volunteer to take ds's out so i can have a rest and get some cleaning done.
