Is there a general anxiety/depression support thread?

The closer winter gets the more I’m struggling TBH. I’ve made so much progress with therapy and the right medication, but lockdown has set me back an awful lot and I could really use a place to talk.

Anyone else? :)

My Director arrived at my house with a lovely bunch of flowers and to see how I was.
She was lovely, told me to take my time and that positive changes are happening.
My spiteful, self destructive brain is now telling me its positive because I'm not there!
God I hate myself at times

Hey, I just wanted to post and say that I finally spoke with the doctor. I'll start taking anti depressants and have some counselling :) I'm also taking some time out of work which is difficult but will help hopefully x

Hi can I join please? I have been treated for anxiety and depression since about June but I think I had been feeling bad long before I went to the GP. I'm on sertraline, which is my friend. I also have had CBT on the phone, this helped me so much, but I think I had a bit of transference with the therapist. I'm now having counselling to talk through something that came up during the CBT. I feel so much better than I did but would love to hear other people's experiences, as there are very few people i real life I could talk about this with. Smile
