Lonely.

I feel so embarrassed to admit but I'm so lonely. My baby is 4 months and my boyfriend works 12hr shifts when he's in work I'm so lonely. My family don't really visit I've always got to go to them. I have friends but more of "see them once a month friends" not very deep friendships. No mother or baby friends. I'm lonely.

I don't usually read this board but just came on to post myself and noticed your post.
I really feel for you especially at the moment with groups and things cancelled. I'm a Grandmother now but still remember the loneliness of being with only a small baby for company day after day.
I often say that it is less lonely to be on your own than with a baby as at least you can read,watch telly or do something absorbing to pass the time.
Keep posting on Mumsnet and other boards to feel a little less alone. These days really do pass,I know you will have heard that so many times before but it's true.
