I think i just need friends. i'm in glasgow married with ds 3yrs and 2 older stepchildren b 20, g 18, who i love most dearly. been with dh for 14yrs, married for 7yrs, but as you can tell 10yr age diferance. dsd lives with us, because dh and i was fighting, or should i say i came off second best with bruses. my family live 150miles away, all i have is dh, dsson, and dsdaughter and my wee lad 3yrs, who should not have to see or hear things! feel better dsd is now living here, we have a great bond, i feel safe!

if i'm 2 much to deal with i will go away? but thank you for advice

i worry about my ds, who we had to have I.V.F. for! i wonder what quality of life he is living? he has been attending nursery for 2yrs now, but still cry's every morn he wants to stay with me

Hi, what do the staff say he's like after you leave? My two dss were like that until my back was turned.

I'm also on citalopram 20mg, how long have you been on it?

I'm on my way to bed so may not be able to talk for long as I've been putting clothes on ebay to sell and it's so tiring.

they say he is ok, but needs adult attension. i am dyslexic speling v-bad

if he is ok after you leave then take no attention of it and try not to worry about it, dont talk to him about it.

as i said needs comforting for about 20mins on a good day 1 hr on a bad 1

How do you feel about the nursery? I didn't like ds1's and when I helped out one day I found the main nursery teacher was way too strict. DS2 was at a pre-school and it was much nicer so I often helped there.
Is this a private nursery though?
I'm going to have to get to bed so will respond tomorrow.

Also have you checked to see if there's a Glasgow meet up coming up? Or one close to you?

i think its best to just leave him to his teacher, when teacher says he's ok just leave, dont turn back.

the nursery is good, yes it's private £120 a week

i only ask how was your day, he say's fine but no friends, i asked about this and was told he has 4 friends

he maybe after your attention and it can be very tiring.

ps32......sorry to hear you are feeling depressed. I'm on sertraline for AND/PND, but have been battling with depression for around five years now. I also know how it feels to be isolated; I'm in Leeds and all my family are in Fife. We have some close friends and my DHs family are close by (not that we see them a lot) but DH is now working away four nights a week and I'm on my own with a five year old DS and a 17 week old baby. It gets pretty lonely sometimes.

I don't know how long you've been on MN, but there is this thread I know some of the women are in Glasgow and they arrange meet-ups occasionally. Introduce yourself, I'm sure you'll get a warm welcome, even if your DS is a little bit older than some.
