Hi, I took this for a while a year or so ago and whilst for me it was ultimately not helpful (meds just aren’t effective for me sadly) the brilliant thing is that I had zero side effects which is something I have never experienced with other ADs. Hope this helps - I would always get very anxious about side effects. Also hope it gives you some relief from your symptoms and you feel better.

I've been taking it for ages. Just gave me abdominal pains for a few weeks which then settled down. It helps me sleep now but with no side effects. Can I ask, do you get this on the NHS?

Yeah I got it off the nhs. Does this medication work for you x

I’ve been taking it for 6 years for bipolar. It’s been good, although I take another 4 different types of medication. No side effects (which is a miracle for me). Having bipolar means that antidepressants can trigger mania—this is the only AD that has not done that in me.

I’m in Scotland—the nhs here doesn’t usually fund it. I got special funding for it. Only pdocs would usually prescribe it.

You need to give it at least 6 weeks.
