Citalopram side effects

I’ve just been switched from sertraline to citalopram by my GP and I’ve been on them a week. My anxiety/depression is a load worse, I have terrible nausea all day and I feel a bit foggy and like I’m walking around in a daze (does that even make sense?!).

I’m hoping these are common side effects and they’ll die down soon. If anyone could reassure me that would be great!

Yes - I had similar lasted around a week (can’t remember exactly) and my anxiety also got worse during that period. I find that now I’m established on them the side effects are minimum and my mood / anxiety levels are very stable. Def worth persevering
