So I been on olanzapine 20mg for 10years and while it controls my symptoms very effectively I gained 4 and 1/2 stone. So doctor swapped me to Haloperidol 10mg. The weight gained is coming off and I was struggling badly with Akathisia but psychiatrist gave me another tablet to counteract it and so far I'm killing it so pleased as there are not many non weight gaining anti psychotics. So very happy today thought I was going to give up the other day when Akathisia was bad but I'm still here.
