Fluoxetine/prozac

Anyone one else taking this?
I started taking it at the start of lock down.
Prior to lockdown I had had horrendously painful periods and diagnosed with adenomyosis.
Since lockdown and fluoxetine I haven’t had a single period.
I checked on line and period disturbances can be a side effect of the fluoxetine, but I’m also 49 so ready for menopause.
Just wondering if there are any others out there who can share their experience?

I must admit that would be a side effect I've never heard of with fluoxetine, which of course doesn't mean it can't be real! I was on it on 60mg for several years, and now back on it at 20mg, and both times haven't had any effects on my cycle or hormones that I'd have noticed.

I took fluoxetine but didn't have this side effect, but then our bodies all react differently. Maybe worth giving your GP a call to chat things through?
