I'm 3 weeks into using Sertraline.

Im 3 weeks into using Sertraline after being weaned off fluoxetine. I'm on the lowest dose right now but I feel very surreal and absolutely exhausted. Slept for 13 hours last night but I still feel like I can't function. I almost feel drunk. Spoke to my Dr today who just doubled my medication and told me to see how it goes... are these side effects normal and do they go away?

I am 4 weeks in and was exactly like that at the 2-3 week mark (to the extent I went to bed at the same time as my son at 8 p.m and when he woke up at about 7 am I was still exhausted). This week though (since about Monday) Ive had much more energy, I actually woke up naturally at a reasonable time this morning feeling refreshed not tired. Id forgotted what that feels like. So Id say hang in there...
