In what way?

Diazepam is a controlled benzodiazepine and can be used medicinally, recreationally or by drug rapists.

You can't take it for longer than 3 to 5 days so it has very limited uses.

You coukd take it longer, but then you build a tolerance and have to either increase the dose or take something else. If you increase the dose you increase your tolerance and so on and so forth until you see giant spiders* when you stop taking it.

But if it was to get you on a once a year plane or something it works. Or temporary use as a muscle relaxant if your back is in spasm (what I've used it for).

In terms of effect on your functioning, it's the equivalent in fuzziness for me of half a bottle of wine, so I wouldn't drive on it or make any vital phone calls.

Basically, if there's something else, try that...

*Happened to my mother in the 70s. 'Mother's little helper' they called it

i’ve had it on a repeat prescription for about 4 years now. 6mg/day.
