Has anyone ever had Art Therapy?

I started this week and feel a right wally... Anyone felt this was any good?

havent tried it myself but this was suggested for my son following his witnessing Domestic violance between myself and his dad.

sadly we couldn't find a therpaist thatw ould take on an autistic 6 year old.

i did a bit of research and its said to be very good as it is relaxing and you can often pour a lot of yoru emtion into your art without even realising it
