Suffered with depression & anxiety for many years.Had traditional counselling & CBT & also hypnotherapy. All have helped but not eliminated my anxiety,& over the lockdown I struggled,so decided to try some different mental health therapy.
I have found a reputable, well respected alternative counsellor & have had three sessions with him. In the first, after an initial consultation,he said I had definitely suffered trauma, which I agree.Difficult teenage years, abusive relationships. He did Psy-Tap therapy on me.It was extremely strange but I was happy to go along with it. On the second visit he did a hypnotherapy session with me & on the last one he did havening, again a strange experience.
I am definitely feeling some improvement in my anxiety levels & feel that the treatment is of benefit to me.
But I would really like to hear if anyone else has had any of this type of therapy, what did you think of it & did it help?
