I’m always scared

Just that really. I have a horrible neighbour who is loud, aggressive and intimidating. He’s lived here for two years now and my anxiety is through the roof! He was recently arrested for attacking another resident and it was all very film like; we all had to give statements and listen while he screamed abuse at the police while we heard snippets of conversations amongst the police such as “found the knife” and “blood on the floor”. My landlord has assured me he is “unlikely” to come back and should be rehoused. (It’s a housing association flat). Not long after he moved in I gave up work to retrain so I can earn more and move out. I’m halfway there, it will still be another two years before I can afford to move so that’s not an option. I have become an absolute mess. Every noise makes me jump and I’m scared every time I leave my flat, but also scared when I’m in it because he might come back. Luckily my DC are oblivious and I have the best husband who is so supportive but he has to work and I hate how needy I’ve become, he goes out of his way to make me feel safe. How do people cope with anxiety when it’s constant?
Sorry about the long post.
