My daughter has anxiety. Current situation is she has a new job and so is anxious. She suffers with feeling sick which then becomes a vicious circle. Any advice would be welcome.

I always allow myself plenty of time to get ready on a morning. That way I know I can eat and try to let my food settle and use the toilet a few times if needed. At times when I feel particularly anxious I'll avoid things like spicy food and too much coffee which could potentially aggravate my digestion.

Might be worth her looking into breathing exercises. I don't find they help me, but lots of people swear by them and practising 'mindfulness' when they start to feel anxious.

Yes, I get terrible upset stomach when anxious. Being prescribed Propranolol really helps but you have to take it BEFORE the anxiety builds to the point of nervous shits.

Yes my stomach feels yucky when I'm.anxious.

Rescue remedy drops on the tongue. Drinking water helps me too but then you need a wee every five minutes x

Also ginger biscuits seems to settle my tummy massively
