I'm looking for advice or any tips on getting confidence back after a long break from work. I haven't worked properly for 15 years due to ill health and my confidence is rock bottom. I have tried to work during this time and they didn't work out, my health got worse and I had to quit, making my self esteem even lower. I want to start work even one or two mornings a week but I am worried that the stress of learning something new will make me ill and I won't be able to manage it. Or that my health will flare up again and I will have to quit and honestly I can't go through that feeling again of starting something and failing at it. I also have a very stressful home life and sometimes find it hard to cope as it is.
