Setraline can it really work within a week?

Been taking it a week. Yesterday an acquaintance died, no feelings nothing. Totally numb and I know normally I would have been crying. I am a cryer

Not usually no. If it does, it is generally a placebo effect. I would put this more down to shock to be honest
