Hi anyone else really struggling with going out of the house? I have ocd\anxiety issue and can at normal times isolate when I'm having a tough time and now with covid it's like that but extra.

My hubby is being really kind and supportive and asking me out on the daily walks but I will find any excuse not to go as I deem the route he is taking to risky act. I just don't know how to put the wheel s back on for normal life right now. I've spoken to my mental health people and they said take it slowly one step at a time but I'm not taking any of those steps as it's just easier to stay in where I feel safe. Anyone else struggling like this ?

Would there be a route that wasn't 'risky"? If so, why not plan the route with your OH so you know exactly what's coming.
I have anxiety and going out is tough sometimes, it usually helps if I plan everything in advance so there are no surprises. Also, I plan something nice for the evening time so I have something to look forward to, a bit like a reward...a hot bath, nice meal, film and popcorn etc.

Baby steps, just walk to the end of your path/across the street first day. Then a bit further. See how you feel.
