Hi

Day 4 of 25mgs doctor told me to do a week of this before going up to 50mgs.

Felt fuzzy and last night panic attack which I got under control.

Today sorry for TMI diarrhoea and nausea

Is this a common side effect.

Taking Ads before but not this one.

Thanks for your help

Absolutely normal. It’s pretty brutal in many ways to start with but the effects will get milder and hopefully stop in a couple of weeks. Keep going with it, it will be worth it

Thank you I will keep going. My anxiety seems worse today worse before it gets better I suppose?

The anxiety will get better. When I started on it I had big surges of anxiety and panic with heart racing etc. I'd never had that before so it quite frightening. It lasted maybe a week then faded away. Of all the AD's I've been on sertraline was the toughest to get used to at first, but once the side effects petered out after a few weeks the benefits were brilliant.

@MattBerrysHair thank you I am trying to go with it. Not looking forward to upping it to 50mgs I guess that will bring another surge?

I had the same beginning and a repeat of the diarrhea and nausea and lightheadedness when I went up from 25 to 50. The nausea just comes out of nowhere doesn’t it! It does get better with time, I hope you start to feel better soon

@LauraL1985 thank you! I will keep going with one day at a time.
