Hi all

I've not posted here before, I've battled low level anxiety/stress since my DC were born and in lockdown things have just gone from bad to worse.

Has anyone stated taking ADs as a result of lockdown? I just can't function anymore, don't want to turn my work laptop on because every overwhelmed, kids are exhausting, no end in sight, useless fecking leadership - feels totally hopeless. House is a shit hope, I'm piling on the weight, I drink every day.... where and how does it end? Would AD's help??

I had a small breakdown 2 years ago when work and childcare got on top of me (full time job and husband overseas for 18 months). This feels very similar, slowly slowly breaking to the point of not functioning normally.

Hey, sounds like my life. I feel so flat at the moment. Week 7 of home working and kids etc and it's dragging me down! Can't snap out of it. I suffer from anxiety anyway so it doesn't help. I've had ADs in the past and they worked eventually but it was a slog to get there and the side effects were dreadful! I've been thinking they're my only way out too at the moment though. I'm sure it will pass but it's a constant battle isn't it. Sorry I can't offer more help other than you're not alone. Hang in there Smile

Hugs. It is definitely worth talking to your GP and considering ADs. I am on them and they have really really helped
