Hi, I've been falling into depression for the last two months or so.
I saw it coming as there was a lot of change but held off seeking help as I thought I could manage. Eventually plucked up the courage to seek help about a month ago. Had a few steps forward, a few steps back but hopefully headed in the right direction.
I was offered medication which I tried but decided not to. I have taken anti depressants before and I know they help but also know my diet has been terrible so I am trying to sort this out then see.
I have recovered from bouts of depression before so am hopeful.
Anyone else at a similar point of starting to get help? No need to share the backstory if you don't want to but I thought this would be a good place for mutual support and mostly positive thoughts.
