Feeling low about lack of support

So i am feeling pretty low right now like i am sure many of us are.

Does anyone feel like they give more support out to others than they receive. I find myself constantly asking how people are and checking up on people but i never get it in return.

Just makes me feel flat.

I have had a rubbish day today after watching a funeral online unfortunately so maybe this heightens my feelings.

Just wondered if anyonr else feels like that

I did.
Now I don’t offer more support than I feel able to and don’t overstretch myself. I need to be my own support. So I need to save my energy for myself!
And some people are sponges. I distance myself from them!

Hi Op.

I didn’t want to leave your post unanswered, I guess people are wrapped up in their own lives, more so at the moment, and I know I’ve not been as good at reaching out to check on my friends as I should have been. It doesn’t mean I’m not thinking about them though.

If you feel like you’re struggling is there a close friend or family member you could reach out to and ask for some support?

Thank you both. Yes i think there's truth in both of that.

I think i may take a step in future
