I'm not sure if I'm overreacting as I have extreme phobia of food poisoning etc especially botulism and like
So today gone to cook dinner and dh has put a tray back in oven ( we store some in due to lack of room) that he used prob a week ago that is covered in dried on food and little bit of oil by looks of it ( haven't used oven as been having bbq and couple take away )
Now I'm concerned the tray is contaminated and not sure if I should throw or ok to clean with soap and water , tray sitting slightly on it also has oily bottom
Is this a food poisoning risk other than just disgusting
It's annoying me as if I go away for a few days I come home to out of date food in fridge , things he knows really set of my ocd
This is the only thing I'm really bothered by not fussy on other aspects of house
So am I over reacting over the tray ?
It's more the little bit of oil that is my concern as be read botulism can grow in oil ,

Just wash it. Or even better still....make him wash it and tell him not to be so grim and lazy next time.

I sympathise with the fear, but honestly, it's fine. Hot water and soap and it will be fine
