Night time loneliness

Does anyone else really struggle with loneliness in the evenings/at night? I have a loving DH but not many friends in honesty. Once it gets to 7pm-ish I get a horrible lonely feeling and like I just want to cry. If anyone else gets this or has been there in the past - how did you get through it?

Hi I've suffered with this all my life. There are loads of things you can do, but you probably know all of them, like, music, a movie, passion project, gratitude journal, make a treat, bath etc. More recently I've been making presents (I say making, collaging photos into notebooks) for people with positive quotes I have chosen, it's v rewarding, I love postive quotes.) Also reading very random books with a slightly spiritual or self development leaning. Sometimes its ok just to go to bed early too!

I know how you feel, I get like this in the evening and weirdly first thing in the morning. My partner lives in a different country (he recently moved) and I don’t really have many friends or a big family. I’m currently sitting in a big bubble bath watching a good movie, scrolling on mumsnet and having a glass of wine but I still have this sad, lonely feeling. I don’t really have any advice, sendings hugs xx

Thanks all. I put it down to PMS but I’ve been like it for a while. I’m not even sure why I’m sad, I just get a wave of it, have a cry and it feels much better. Who knows? But it’s certainly nice to know that I’m not alone x
