Woke up 5 this morning could hear the door knocking went down no one there carried on trying to sleep but every time I got in bed heard the door knock. At 7 I ignored it and got up. Kids still asleep and kept hearing them call me a.

About 11 could feel and see bugs under my skin which I hate happening. Could still here kids call every now and then.

At 4 the whispers started couldn't make them out, then they gradually started getting louder got my psychiatrist phoning me back Friday as I've had my meds increased.

Not struggling too much today it's manageable more of an annoyance tbh.

In case it's important diagnosis is bipolar with schizophrenia. I have no mood disturbance at all right now. In fact less stress than I have been in months.

That sounds worrying. Are you taking your meds regularly? Perhaps arrange for your psychiatrist to call back earlier?

Are you living with another adult?

inwood · 26/04/2020 22:17

Do you live with another adult? Can you call the MH crisis team?

yelyah22 · 26/04/2020 22:23

Glad you're managing okay today - defo a good idea to speak to your psychatrist when you can, but do you have a number for a crisis team or a MH nurse in case you need it in the mean time?

Theodoreb · 27/04/2020 00:55

I have been taking my meds perfectly as I should.

I am able to ring through to crisis I have the number but not at the point yet where they will do anything as I'm still in control.

My mum lives one street away street away so if there are any issues she will be able to get here within 5 minutes and I have warned her I'm not the best.

My plan is to wait through tonight see what a good sleep does and if I'm no better phone my psychiatrist receptionist who will get him to call back within 2hrs.

How you feeling this morning? Did you manage to get a good sleep?

It's definitely good that you have (and feel able to use) the support around you. Have you told anyone (non-medical) in real life that you might need checking in with (if you think that'd be useful)?

@yelyah22

I feel much better so far no psychosis so that's brill, also my psychiatrist called today to check up on me he said I have to expect that with the extreme measures going on I'm going to experience more symptoms than normal as even the average person is feeling mentally strained.

He is calling back Friday.
