Anxious in own home

Hey everyone, myself and my partner have been living in our current house for just over 5 months. My DH works night shifts regularly and I’m just so anxious and insecure.
I have a dog who is great company but I just can’t seem to switch off. Constantly overthinking, panicking about noises to the point where I stay up all night downstairs as I feel safest here as I could get out if I needed to. I know this is all in my head.. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, would just like some coping strategies to be able to relax in my own home :(
Thanks

I live alone and sometimes have periods of feeling like this. I have friends that live so close they could get here in a few minutes, it helps me to know that. Do you have any of your neighbours numbers, or could you ask for it.
Also, a little controversial but there may be a hammer next to my bed, again it just makes me feel better to know it's there.
