Can I talk to someone about fun stuff?

Recently I have noted that I've become cynical, negative, stressed and anxious about even trivial things... which I wasn't while growing up (till the age of 25 even). People who've known me for longer have said this to me too. It's affecting my health I think and I now have asthma and other health problems because of this.

I wanted to talk to some funny, carefree, humourous, nice people here to cure myself. Very selfish :) of me but what can I say, I need it.

Can we talk about any stupid funny stuff. I am open to just about anything.

True story. I once had a boyfriend who I lived with and even though we lived together we had only dated for a few months and despite this being the case we still lived together. ANYWAY. One night I woke up and realised I needed a poo and was scared incase he could hear me do it. I went downstairs and did it in a plastic bag in the hallway and hid it in the garden until he went to work. Moral of the story don't live with someone until you've crossed a few boundaries

Get a bike, go for a ride or something as this can make you feel carefree. Do you smoke? I stopped last year and definitely feel like I've lost a tonne of uptightness.

Try smile, people smile back! Good luck 😉

Read this blog, OP.

I created it a fortnight ago, in many ways to distract myself from being anxious.

I know how hard this all is, OP. My anxiety is through the roof at the moment.

My sis lives in a not very large apartment and can't go out. She's just live-cam'd her "beach".

A patch of her living room has a skylight so she's got a lilo, a towel, a book, sunglasses, and a drink, and has been sunbathing in a bikini in her sitting room. Grin

Thanks for sharing @whoknew87 - Smile I have a weak gut too btw and I have thought of doing that when the loo is occupied and I cannot hold it anymore. Luckily it hasn't come to that till now.

@DollyPartons - I am under lockdown so no biking just yet but I will try the exercise bike at home and smile while I'm doing that. Speaking of which, I have noticed over time that my face has become frowny too... has anyone else seen that? That your regular expression is frowny. Is that an age thing or am I really that sad? And in answer to your question, I do not smoke.... plus Asthma, remember!

Thanks @TheMustressMhor - I will give that a read. Have been thinking of writing myself.

@Mintjulia - That's very 'If life gives you lemons' of your sister :)

DS is going on a pub crawl tomorrow night - a glass of alcohol in each room of the house!
