self-referral and kids?

Just had a call back from the local NHS self-referral team to take a few details and chat about what's making me so sad/anxious. She took the basics of name, date of birth, GP and so on, then asked for the names and dates of birth of any children under the age of 16 I was responsible for.

this has really worried me. Surely she won't pass on to the schools or social services or wherever because i've self-referred and am on anti-depressants?

Have no experience ,hopefully someone who does will come along soon
Can't imagine they would talk to the school.

Worse case they are only making sure the kids are ok,which I am 100% sure they are

Take care

Don't worry, it's routine to take those details! They ask the kids ages so parents with kids under 2 can be prioritised. They won't be talking to schools/children's services unless there are safeguarding or risk issues. Not many people are referred on to children's services but if they are it's discussed with them before the referral takes place (unless there are exceptional circumstances). Hope this helps and hope you get an assessment quickly.

She said it was routine but it worried me. She said around 4 weeks for initial appointment but may be sooner as i'm prepared to travel.
