My partner has suffered from depression and is currently on antidepressants. They seemed to be working well and my partner was doing much better. However, we have two young children, and my partner really struggles to cope with entirely normal behaviour from them. Left alone with them for mere minutes, my partner will start shouting at them. A few hours, and it'll be screaming and swearing at them. Is this something we should be trying to work on in its own right, or is it more likely tied to underlying mental health?
