Help about Setraline please

I’ve just been prescribed Setraline, I’ve never taken any type of antidepressant before. The first day I felt terrible and had a real brain fog, yesterday seemed much better but today the brain fog is back. Is this normal? And does anyone know how long this feeling will last.

I had the same when I started taking it. Along with a horrible teeth grinding thing! It took me bout 2 weeks to feel ok, and was definitely worth it!

Hi, DS has been on Sertraline for almost 5 weeks. It was only the first few days he felt really ill, was dizzy, tired and had dilated pupils. He's had some insomnia too but felt much better after the second week.He still has the odd day of feeling dizzy and since starting a new box the nausea has started again, but only last about an hour after taking the pill.

Thank you, it’s very reassuring to know that it’s all normal. I hope he continues to do well on it
