Sertraline increase

Hi, I've taken SSRIs on and off for many years and after a difficult few months my dosage has been increased from 100mg to 150mg. I've just switched from taking in evening to the morning as I found I wasn't sleeping well. However now I'm dozy during the day.
Any other experiences/advice please?

Hi @cleowasmycat

I don't have any advice as such but just wanted to let you know I can relate.

I've been on Sertraline 50mg daily since 2016 and was doing amazingly well up until a few months ago when the terrible anxiety/intrusive thoughts came back.

I've just this week had my dose increased from the 50mg to 100mg. So far in terms of side effects all I have had is nausea and a bit of a headache but I anticipate probably a few more intense side effects before too long.

I take it in the morning time (always have) with a cold glass of water. I'm also on Propranolol 80mg daily, so I take both together. I have found over the years that Sertraline can make me tired but to combat it I have always just tried to stay busy/distract myself knowing if I sit down I will likely fall asleep.

I hope you feel better soon, good luck!
