Working from home

I’m just after a hand hold but also your thoughts on this....
We have the opportunity to work from home every 2 weeks or so if it is agreed beforehand.
I’m suffering depression and anxiety which eases sometimes but it is then awful.
I often ask to work from home when I feel low and it always agreed. I do work hard but also feel guilty.
I’m not sure what I’m asking for from you all except I suppose reassurance that this is an ok coping mechanism and that sometimes I cannot bear the pressure of the office.
Btw work are aware of the issues I have and are very supportive. They say I do a great job, I’m always doubtful though :-(

I don't know if it would help you to know that depression can be classed as a disability if it has lasted, or is expected to last, for at least 12 months and if it also affects your ability to cope with daily tasks. Employers have to make reasonable adjustments for employees with any disability, and flexible working is a great reasonable adjustment.

It's great that you have a supportive employer - make the most of it Smile
