I'm on sertaline for hormone related anxiety and feeling low. Up to now it's been great, haven't even noticed my periods coming whereas before I was constantly crying or murderous.
Had a shitty day at work, manager basically told me I'm too nice to the staff and I'm now totally churned up. My stomach is in knots and I'm crying since I left work this evening.
Any tips to shake this feeling, I hate it.

I'm so sorry for this awful feeling, do something to make yourself feel good maybe go for a run or brisk walk to clear your head, fresh air always helps! I hope you feel better Smile

Treat yourself to take your mind off things.
Have you let work know and what your triggers are? Xxx

No, my manager is not sympathetic to mental health to be honest.
I'm.trying to tell myself it's just because my period is due but it's not working.
I haven't cried for 3 months since being on the tablets and now I'm churned up I'm thinking something bad is going to happen if that makes sense?

Trying to watch shitty TV to distract myself.

Don’t watch shitty tv. Watch something engrossing and complex.

Your mind is working overtime and you need to distract it

Subtitles worked for me, I had to concentrate,. Just one look, French crime. Brilliant.

The feelings will pass.

Sorry you’re feeling so bad, I always find reading out loud to myself helps and also singing. It’s so hard when your mind takes over like this, but it will pass, keep posting on here if it helps, anything to distract you x
