Citalopram

I have been on Citalopram for a number of years and have noticed recently that my moods have shifted towards great sadness and depression. I believe from looking at the packaging that the manufacturer may have changed. Has anyone else experienced issues like this?

Yes! I’ve been on 40mg for years And they’ve been great but lately I’ve been feeling so anxious all the time. Didn’t even think about it being a different manufacturer

I disused it with my GP and she has given me a new prescription to see what happens. The pharmacist in Boots has been amazing and we have tracked down the original manufacturer so hopefully today picking them up. The active ingredient appears ti be the same but all of the blinking agents are different.. so who knows... let's see what happens.

Mine are now manufactured by noumed, don’t know who it used to be . I’m thinking of asking to switch to e citalopram
