Yep, it's more effective than anything else I've tried. Just never forget to take it.

Honestly? It was probably around 6 weeks before it was really kicking in. But it was a game changer for me in terms of anxiety. I frequently find myself doing things and thinking that they would have paralysed me with fear in the past.

I guess I'm just being impatient and was hoping I would feel different by now currently feel like my head is in a vice getting squeezed xx

I'm on a combination of venla and quetiapine. When I was on 300mg ven and 100mg my mental health was great, the best I've ever felt in my life. Like a different person really. Due to side effects I reduced both and I am not as well currently. Plan to gradually increase the dose with gp's supervision. Ven is very good but my own experience was that I needed a high dose.

*100mg quetiapine

I'm on 337.5mg Venlafaxine, feel brilliant in terms of not being depressed any more, it's a life saver.
I do get down at times still but I generally find it lifts quickly due to the Venlafaxine.

There are side effects but the benefits far outweigh these.
