Life Insurence with a history of depression

I have a history of depression, on and off for the last 6 years resulting in long stints off work. I'm still on the sick with depression now but applying for a new mortgage, they've asked for life Insurence, however I'm struggling to find anyone who will insure me. This depression episode has being the worst, resulting in me trying to take my own life in early December, the crisis team were involved. I'm now on new medication and getting councilling and I'm no longer suicidal. I know I will probably have to pay more for Insurence, but I can't find anywhere that will. Has anyone successfully got Insurence in my situation?

Hi sorry I don't know but maybe post this in money or property? Best of luck.

Hi,

There are some companies listed on the Mind website here who might be able to help (scroll down a bit and they are listed A-Z)

What about trying a different mortgage provider instead. I didn't need life insurance for ybs or Coventry.

Thanks everyone. We have to stick with the same bank otherwise we lose £3000 for an early repayment charge unfortunately. Thank you for that link wheresmymojo, it's very helpful!
