Fluoxetine to Paroxetine - should I switch?

I’ve been in a super low dose of 10mg of fluoxetine for a year now (depression) but I am v sensitive to ADs and I have a constant brain fog. I saw the NHS Psychiatrist yesterday who recommended I switch to Patoxetine as it may help me sleep better and a change could also be good.
I have no problem changing (I have previously had sertraline) but when I’ve googled Paroxetine I see it is Seroxat.
I was on Seroxat over 25 years ago and had vivid nightmares as well as suicidal thoughts. I have previously told the Psych this but he obviously didn’t see that info in my notes and as he used the name Paroxetine I didn’t make the connection.
Has anyone previously had Seroxat and then gone back to it without the negative side effects? Has anyone a positive story of switching from fluoxetine to Paroxetine?

Never been on Fluoxetine but was on Seroxat for 26 years and only came off it last April. I would never take it again and thought I would never be off it completely. Awful drug

Paroxetine made me more agitated and it is difficult to withdraw from after long term treatment.

Exactly what Imsureimnotmad said, it's extremely bad for withdrawal, very hard to come off
