Implant making me irrational?

Had the arm implant (nexplanon) put in early December and have been fine up until the last 2 weeks. Recently have been feeling extremely frustrated with every little bad thing that comes my way and have been overly emotional. I'll admit a lot goes on in my family to warrant how I feel but after the fact, I do feel as though my reactions have been too extreme. I have 2 young children so I try to keep my feelings in check as much as I can but my husband isn't always the most understanding person and when we argue, I cry a lot! Anybody have any similar experiences or anything to add?

Hello. You are not alone. I had the implant put in in Feb 2019. All seemed well at first but a few months in I felt the same as you. I wasn't 100% sure but I did feel things were different to before I had it. I wasn't on contraception for a long time before having it as wasn't needed until I met now DH. I feel a year in that I do still have times where I feel it does effect me but it's not constant like it was. I also get very sick taking any sort of pill so feel this is the best I can get unfortunately which is a shame. I hope it gets better for you. My friend had hers out after 6 months as she just didn't feel it was settling for her.
