I have bipolar disorder but my main issue at the moment is anxiety and stress.
I'm just about to lose my job (contract ends, job market in my area of expertise is an absolute nightmare at the moment) so this plus other things over the past few weeks has sent my stress and anxiety levels sky high.
At the moment I feel like my nervous system has gone into overload and I'm just full of cortisol as I'm shaky, heartbeat is going crazy, constantly feel on edge, etc.
I need to calm myself down and re-group as I can't see myself being able to manage a job search in my current state but we don't have the money for me to take any time out.
So...I need to do a lot of self-care, self-soothing and self-help to get myself back into a reasonably calm state of mind.
Anyone want to join that could benefit from focusing on the same for a while?
