Anxiety and distress. Handhold

I name changed for a situation with my DH last night where he went ballistic and started throwing things around and some of my things into the garden. That has settled but I'm feeling really down and anxious.
I have ptsd anxiety and stress but have been doing ok.
Today after being awake most of the night I am exhausted but can't sleep, am not feeling up to work tomorrow and feel stressed and distressed.
I feel quite alone as I don't have much family and my DH obviously isn't supportive.

Sorry you are feeling this way, it’s never nice. I know first hand dealing with anxiety is horrible.
I try to watch something I enjoy on the tv even if it’s background noise, eat something or watch funny videos on YouTube to try break me out of my cycle then I listen to sleep meditation videos at night if I am really struggling, most of the time they do help in getting me to sleep, i try go to work everyday even with issues because it does take my mind of things and the people cheer me up.
I hope you feel more relaxed soon

Hi user . Yes that's how I usually manage things too. I've been doing well recently but this incident has upset me compounded by tiredness staying awake on guard so to speak. I feel quite down and don't feel I can go into work or even just manage in general.

Are you getting any sort of therapy or support from your GP?
