Increase in fluoxetine

I'm having a bad time at the moment and my fluoxetine has been increased to 40mg I've been taking increased dose for just over a week now. Anyone know when that should start to work ? Thankyou

During a previous episode of depression I had my dose increased, first to 40mg then 60mg. Each time, the increase took about two weeks to affect my mood. Hope it kicks in soon for you, and also that things get easier.
