Hi all,
I have recently (all in the last 3 days) been started on the above medication at a dose of 10mg to help me sleep. Have been struggling with post natal insomnia for the past 3 months.
The first night I took it I just woke up once but the last 2 nights have been very bad. I’ve woken up for at least 2-3 hours. This was probably worse than before I started them! Keen to now if this is the norm and they just need to settle in if anyone has personal experience? No side effects so far! X

I take it for sciatic pain which stops me sleeping. I think it does take time to build up. Also, if I miss a tablet it's fine but if I miss a few it starts hurting again.

Give it a chance. They do take a bit of time to settle on but if they don't work then see about going up to 25mg as 10mg is a nothing dose really.

Thanks for replying, I assumed that was the case but it’s just a bit disheartening as I had read a number of threads where they seem to have worked very well!

Different people seem to have different reactions to it though. I know someone who was completely knocked out by 10mg whereas I'm just slightly relaxed.

I’m sure that’s the case I’m just eager for something to help I guess at this point!

I take it for neuropathic pain and it also helps my depression. I'm on 150mg before bed and I sleep like a log!
