Struggling with Escitalopram

I started Escitalopram on Thursday after having had to come off Sertraline due to terrible diarrhoea. I'd been on it 8 weeks. I came off quickly which made me dizzy but the GP has advised this and said I should wait until the diarrhoea was better before starting Escitalopram. Only a couple of hours after starting the Escitalopram the dizziness went completely! I was really pleased! But by the second day, I was waking feeling a different dizzy sensation like I was really drunk. This passed quite quickly after waking up and taking the tablet but got worse day 3 and worse again today. I'm really dizzy and have thrown up a few times. I stupidly had some wine last night and I don't think that's helped. Anyone else had this? Did it go away? I'm scared this drug won't suit me either and I won't be able to go to work tomorrow and have to have more time off...
