Hi everyone, I have PCOS and I was on cerzatte pill last month my doctor gave me doserex ( think that’s how it’s spelt ) she said it was exactly the same... amyhow since taking it I’ve felt really sad and low and I already suffer from anxiety but my levels have been so high... has anyone else experienced this? So I’ve stopped taking for two days still feel crappy but not as sad but I’m very jittery and dizzy anyone experienced this also ? X

I was on microgynon for years and was put on regivedon last year (apparently the exact same pill but a cheaper version for the nhs to buy).
I had no side effects on microgynon but feel like crap on regivedon. My mental health plummeted about a week after starting it and I’ve had dizziness, bloating, spots and headaches. So annoying!

Thanks for your reply... I just feel so crappy... like I say I stopped it now but i feel so jittery and anxious and a headache like there's a fog over me... I'm not sure what to do... the doctors just lie and say there's no difference when they're must be x

My GP changed my pill from Cerazette to Cerelle a few years ago, saying it was the same but cheaper for them. I insisted on going back on Cerazette as my mood swings were horrendous. So I do think different brands of pill suit different people, I would ask to go back on the one you were on. Your body, your choice what you put in it IMO!

Thankyou you so much for your reply... I'm going to try and get in to my doctors today and ask to go back on that one x

Just so you know if they refuse to give you the other brand then you can buy them on places like mypharmacy.com and lloydspharmacy for about £3 per month and they deliver to your house x
