Just that - I feel so low, mostly caused by my unhappy marriage and I'm not ok. I just needed it down in writing

Flowers Because of things a counselor can’t help fix?
Pinkbutterfly79 · 13/12/2019 22:27

I’m feeling the same Sad

@cakeandchampagne haven't seen a councillor, it's not just my marriage...I'm finding it really hard to cope with life.

@Pinkbutterfly79 sorry to hear that - magnifies it with Christmas round the corner doesn't it

@jogonnow it is exhausting isn't it.
I usually love Christmas time but this year I just feel like I am pretending for the children.
I’m having some major health issues at the moment and ‘Dp’ is being anything but supportive and is making me feel worse by making me feel guilty for being unwell

jogonnow · 14/12/2019 21:05

Yes absolutely is. I just need a supportive husband who'll listen to how I feel - I have the complete opposite. I feel terribly lonely

Me too, but to the outside world he looks like he is being super supportive so everyone thinks he is wonderful.
I hope things improve for you soon, is there anything you want to talk about?

jogonnow · 15/12/2019 07:51

I don't really know, everything seems such an effort. How do I break this feeling of loneliness...

I wish I knew Sad I think what makes it worse is that you feel so shit that you stop making plans and seeing people because it’s too much effort or you don’t want them to see how low you are but then you isolate yourself which makes you feel even worse.

jogonnow · 16/12/2019 21:44

Yes it sure is a vicious circle. I manage to go to work but I definitely put an act on whist I'm there - I actually find it a relief. Sad that I'm at my happiest in the workplace.

I love my job but have had to take some time off. I fell ill at work and ended up in hospital for two weeks. Tried to go back after another two weeks at home but couldn’t cope with it so I had to take some more time.
Work is my happy place where I am surrounded by people that genuinely care about me and I am really missing being there but I just can’t deal with the actual work.
