Does anyone get this with health anxiety, as though there is something wrong, your worried about something and your stomach is constantly turning over nervously? It's driving me crazy and I'm wondering if it's health anxiety or if I'm seriously ill. I've just taken 2 calm tablets to see if that makes a difference but up to now it doesn't.

I'm feeling so low about this, trying to put on a smiley face with my lovely family but it's really getting me down. I'm just hoping it is anxiety and nothing serious Sad

Hey yeah I have this! I am on propranolol and that seems to ease the symptoms when I take 1 of those. Have you been to the docs at all?

Thank you so much for replying.

My health anxiety seems to be getting worse and the past few weeks whenever I start thinking I have a serious illness or my children do then I get this feeling. It's like knots in my stomach and turning over all the time.

I did go the doctors and he took my bloods and gave me a FIT stool test to make sure my bowels/digestive system was ok. The FIT test came back with a microscopic amount of blood in which could mean anything and the fact I was on my periods could mean that. My bloods came back fine.

So now my stomach is constantly turning over and in knots all the time, I've lost my appetite with worry which means I'm losing weight. Im obviously thinking the worst and have 2 weeks before my appointment.

I didn't know if it was anxiety which I really think it is or now after the FIT test it's something much more serious. The only thing that is steering me towards anxiety is I'm fine then when I think of the blood test or I may have something more serious then it starts again, the flipping over of my stomach with a feeling of dread.

Yes I have this almost constantly and I've had it all my life. I believe that it's just my normal to carry dread in my stomach. I'm having therapy but I'm not sure if it will ever go. It makes life hard.

Sad do you think the therapy eases it a bit or maybe try medication?

I've always been a worrier and my anxiety lately has gone through the roof but never had this stomach issue until a few weeks ago. Just a feeling of dread constantly Sad

Therapy long term will help but for the short term I would say try medication. I honestly know how you're feeling right now. I had a lot of stomach pain etc and got so many tests done and all came back okay. So they have it's ibs and stress/anxiety related.
Do you know what is happening at your next docs app? I really feel for you, it's a horrible feeling but honestly anxiety can make us feel such horrible things. I can imagine if your doc was really concerned they would of pushed for more tests? X
