So for a long time whenever under periods of stress I've occasionally had a bout of nausea which seemingly comes out of nowhere. Starts with a tingling Adrenalin rush and then I start coughing, mouth starts producing way too much saliva and then that makes me feel nauseous. Sometimes I'm sick but sometimes I just get the bloody stupid cough. I do suffer with periods of anxiety although have never been to a GP or being formally diagnosed. Looking up symptoms online I wouldn't say that I categorise as someone who is constabtly anxious.
Does anyone have the same or similar things happen to them which could help me to understand what these stupid coughing/nausea attacks are?
Thanks in advance! X

I feel sick when I am stressed too. I've had some of what you describe. The body produces cortisol in response to a perceived threat (the adrenaline rush). The cough is probably due to acid reflux though I am not sure.

Thank you two lungs, it is certainly odd!
