Hello
Can anyone recommend a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist who can help with repressed feelings and emotions and help you to connect with people and self esteem issues. Thanks in anticipation

In the UK a psychiatrist primarily prescribes medication, rather than deal with repressed feelings, which would be what a talking therapy would give you. A clinical psychologist could possibly help, but they deal primarily with a cognitive behavioural approach (strategies to implement change, rather than working with underlying ‘repressed’ feelings). A psychotherapist might be a good option, and usually cheaper than a psychologist. The BACP register is a good place to start as therapists on it have to have attained a certain level of training and professional competence: www.bacp.co.uk/about-therapy/how-to-find-a-therapist/
