Hi,
I'm new here - not sure I'm doing this right.
My mental health has deteriorated to the point that I called the Samaritans last night. Today I called my gp, have been given citalopram, signed off work and self referred to talking therapy.
I'm struggling. I can't do this anymore. Work is coming over me like a wave, I'm drowning. My ex is running me in family court and I'm about to loose my child

So sorry to hear this, you have a lot to deal with by the sounds of it. The time off work is definitely a good thing at the moment as you can take time to yourself. Is there someone at work that you can confide in and tell them how you feel you are drowning, they will surely offer support and perhaps reduce your workload. Why do you think you will lose your child? (you don't have to answer, I just wanted to try and help a bit).

@Memoriesmemories

Because my ex partner is saying I'm mentally unstable & he has started court proceedings - SS are now involved
I'm trying to be a good mum, I keep then shielded from what I'm going through, I break down at night or during school hours because I don't want them seeing me like that.

Oh bless you that sounds very hard. You are a good mum. Can your GP perhaps speak to SS to verify this? SS will see you are a good mum, they are not daft! They won't just take his word for it!
